Cruiser class is a multi-task warcraft with very effective attack and defence capabilities held in high regard by both the Overlords and The Galactic Patrol.

Cruiser's range and speed are particularly effective in search/locate/destroy missions that involve sojourns into the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy. In the famous Crab Nebula skirmish of the Wars of Domination, three cruisers of The Galactic Patrol defeated a Terminator and two Scouts of the Overlords in a battle lasting 3 days and fought over 4 space sectors.
