El Dorado
El Dorado is situated in the Inlands Star System see Galactic Chart and is considered a Frontier Planet as its economy and social structure are still rather primitive. El Dorado was discovered by geologists seeking Zalamonds, the most precious and sought after gem in the Milky Way Galaxy. Several Mining town have been established on El Dorado since large deposits of gold were recently discovered there. These discoveries attract many prospectors looking to dig a fortune out of the ground.
The fortunes dug from the ground also attracts claim-jumpers, thieves, saloon keepers, shop-keepers and others all looking to make easy money from the Prospectors who strike it rich. There is no Bank on El Dorado to put your money in but you can take it home with you at the end of your stay. Prospectors must file a new Claim each time they come to El Dorado.
El Dorado is continually subjected to a very unusual [ISS] form of radiation from its Sun which prevents the operation of many modern weapons based on energy emission. Guns containing gun-powder and bullets are the only type of Ranged Weapons which are effective on El Dorado.
