Mauler

The Mauler class of spacecraft is usually very heavily armed and is designed to position itself in close proximity to an enemy Star Base and to batter the Star Base into submission.

A Mauler are usually commanded by an officer who is courageou and tenacious, as they are often required to hold their position in the face of heavy enemy attack from several quarters simulteanously.
