Taurans

Taurans have for centuries lived and thrived by preying on other nearby cultures. Their home planet Tarus is a treasure house of precious metals and gems. Descriptions provided by survivors of attacks by Space Pirates tend to identify the Taurans as being strongly suspected of involvement in numerous accounts of space piracy committed in numerous sectors of the Milky Way Galaxy. However the fact that there have been very few survivors from these acts of piracy, together with their innocent appearance, has made it difficult to positively identify the culprits.

Taurans are very loyal to one another and share a strong sense of communal advancement, unfortunately ofter at the expense of their Milky Way Galaxy neighbours. They live for the moment and have little appreciation of moral concepts such as that of good and evil. Taurans are powerful exponents of all branches of the martial arts and are skillful and dangerous fighters. In the early galactic wars they were employed extensively as mercenaries by various other civilizations.

At present they are an important and integral component of the Overlords Alliance. But will this last? However do not underestimate them - they are clever, cunning, totally ruthless and many believe that their only loyalty is to themselves.
