Vegas

Vegas is one of the eight Adventure Planets and is the one to which citizens of the Milky Way Galaxy travel for all forms of gambling.

Vegas was discovered by accident when a commodities freighter crewed by The Clan travelling from El Dorado to Mystral was damaged in a skirmish with unidentified Space Pirates and forced to land on an unidentified Planet in the Dog Nebula.

The marooned crew of the freighter after rescue, described the sky of this unknown Planet as "being the colour of money". This together with stories they related of good luck experienced by them in reaching a Planet with abundant food, prompted a group of Entrepreneurs to raise the capital required to establish a gambling casino on the unknown Planet.

The casino proved very popular and was followed by other. In time 'The Unknown Planet" came to be known as Vegas, a reference to a gambling city on Earth which according to legend was established under similar circumstances in times past.
